Other Assets
In its infancy alongside the infancy of the greater Cardano ecosystem, Skills Labs featured a variety of assets within our ecosystem. As we move forward, we are consolidating our ecosystem to enhance and consolidate the utility of the SKILL our primary governance token. We value the holders of all Skills Labs assets, which is why we've implemented mechanisms to ensure their continued relevance:
Asset Buy Backs: Skills Labs has purchased a number of assets through marketplaces and incentives ran in the past. A manually managed asset-buy back program is available via discord. Allowing holders of OG Cardano assets to swap them for SKILL tokens, our most liquid asset. If you still hold any assets minted by Skills Labs and wish to offload them, please feel free to visit the asset buy-back channel in the extra's section of our discord.
These initiatives are part of our commitment to our investors and also ensuring that all assets within the Skills Labs ecosystem maintain value and utility as we streamline our operations to focus on SKILL.
Ada Budz
Ada Budz is an early OG Cardano meme collection, minted during the earliest days of Cardano's DeFi ecosystem. Designed to be a fun and interactive way to engage with the Cardano blockchain, Ada Budz allowed holders to earn HERB tokens via Taptools.io through various activities within the ecosystem.
As Skills Labs evolved, Ada Budz holders were given the opportunity to convert their assets into new Skills Labs assets, integrating them into our broader ecosystem. Over time, a significant portion of both the Ada Budz NFTs and HERB tokens have been sent to our burn wallet, reducing the circulating supply and reinforcing the scarcity of these early collectibles.
While Ada Budz no longer offers additional utility beyond the ability to harvest HERB tokens when available in the rewards pool, they remain a cherished part of our history. Although no longer available for minting, Ada Budz NFTs can still be bought or sold on secondary markets, preserving their legacy as a fun and nostalgic part of the Cardano ecosystem.
